Clifford Chance advises Mondelēz International on the US$1.350 Billion sale of its developed-market gum business in United States, Canada and Europe to Perfetti Van Melle Group Leading International law firm Clifford Chance has advised Mondelēz International on its definitive agreements to sell its developed-market gum business in the United States, Canada and Europe to leading European gum and confectionery maker Perfetti Van Melle Group for a headline purchase price of US$1.350 billion. The strategic deal advances the portfolio reshaping strategy of Mondelēz International which will enable greater focus on growth and reinvestment in its core chocolate, biscuit and baked snacks categories.
