Willkie advised learnd SE, a leading provider of energy management systems for non-residential buildings, on financing for its acquisitions of BGES Group and Ashdown Group, building management systems providers in the UK and Ireland, respectively.

The additions of BGES Group and a group of three Ashdown companies enhances learnd’s expertise in building controls and energy and remote management solutions. The acquisitions advance the company’s goal of becoming the largest energy management company in Europe and leading the decarbonization of the built environment.

learnd offers energy management solutions to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions for non-residential buildings. Willkie previously advised the company in connection with its business combination and listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
