Kirkland & Ellis represented Integral Corporation (“Integral”), a Japan-based private equity manager, in the successful closing of Integral Fund V Series, which held its final close at its hard cap of JPY 250 billion (approximately US$1.763 billion). Integral Fund V Series is the fifth buy-out fund raised by Integral, which will continue to primarily invest in buy-out opportunities in Japanese mid-market segments. Integral Fund V Series was substantially oversubscribed and received strong support from new and existing investors, including Japanese and international banks, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, pension funds, endowments and other prestigious institutional investors.
