Kirkland & Ellis represented Wind Point Partners, a leading Chicago-based private equity firm, on the closing of its latest fund, Wind Point Partners X (Fund X). Fund X closed with total commitments of $2.3 billion, exceeding the Fund’s $1.7 billion target. The closing of Fund X coincides with Wind Point’s 40th anniversary and represents the firm’s largest fund to date, including a more than 50% increase to the predecessor fund.
