Milbank LLP represented EIG on a €450 million structured credit facility to Aukera with the proceeds to be used to fund and develop its solar, wind and battery storage pipeline. During its 41-year history, EIG has committed over $47.1 billion to the energy sector through over 405 projects or companies in 42 countries on six continents. Aukera focuses on the development, construction and operation of solar, wind and battery storage projects. It is currently developing a pipeline of 11.5 GW and expects to have over 1.5 GW in construction or operation by 2026.
