Duncan Moreno told Law360 on Friday that she was drawn to the firm because of its strong international presence, which will bolster her own practice.
"Duane Morris has 29 offices globally, a strong presence in the US, London, Singapore, Shanghai, and other offices in Asia," Duncan Moreno said. "Mexico has a lot of commercial dealings with other countries, so the international platform, combined with my cross-border practice, it just works for me and my clients."
The newest Duane Morris partner's practice is largely comprised of real estate transaction work, including leases, purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, construction contracts, and management agreements. She also advises on a range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing transactions, the firm said.
