Lee is based in New York and Washington, D.C. and will serve as Chair of the Firm’s new National Security and Cross Border Litigation practice. Also joining Willkie as partners are Andrew Lichtman, who is based in New York, and Douglass Mitchell, who is based in Washington, D.C. Lee, who served under four U.S. Presidents in senior legal and national security positions, is a nationally-recognized litigator and advisor. Lee has led some of the most high-profile matters in recent years, having successfully resolved numerous multibillion-dollar civil disputes, regulatory proceedings, and governmental investigations, and he recently served as government-appointed Monitor of a tier-one financial institution under three separate consent decrees.
