Kirkland & Ellis LLP counseled Dermody Properties LLC, a private equity real estate investment, development and operating company focused exclusively on the industrial property sector, on the closing of Dermody Properties Industrial Fund L.P. (DPIF). DPIF, launched in the fourth quarter of 2015, raised $442.4 million of equity capital and exceeded its target fundraising goal of $400 million. Investors in DPIF include public and corporate pension funds, insurance companies, and other institutional investors.
