Kirkland & Ellis advised Renters Legal Liability LLC, a Utah-based managing general agency (MGA) insurance company specializing in renters’ legal liability products for multifamily real estate owners and managers across the U.S., on the sale of all of its assets to DOXA Insurance Holdings, a specialty underwriting and distribution company (recently acquired by Goldman Sachs Asset Management), which provides MGA services, wholesale, affinity programs, and alternative risk solutions for specialized industries. Financial terms of the transaction, which signed on February 29, 2024 and closed on April 1, 2024, have not been disclosed.
