Freshfields partner Kristen Riemenschneider was recognized by Women in Business Law Americas Awards as the Life Sciences Lawyer of the Year. She was awarded at the gala ceremony at The Union League Club, New York on June 13th. Kristen is an experienced IP transactions lawyer focusing exclusively on the life sciences sector. She represents global pharmaceutical companies to early-stage biotech companies on their most strategic matters, including complex carve-outs, licenses and collaborations, options to license, and highly bespoke commercial arrangements. In addition to being recognized as the Life Sciences Lawyer of the Year, Kristen was also shortlisted for Thought Leadership Lawyer of the Year.
