Willkie served as U.S. counsel to Telefônica Cloud e Tecnologia do Brasil S.A., a subsidiary of Telefonica Brasil S.A., in its acquisition of IPNET for approximately R$230 million. Telefonica Brasil announced on July 22 that its cloud computing unit Telefônica Cloud e Tecnologia do Brasil S.A. (TCloud) entered into an agreement to acquire digital services provider IPNET and IPNET USA, LLC, for a value of up to R$230 million. IPNET engages in, among other activities, the resale of software and systems, as well as the provision of professional and managed services for adaptation, migration, and related support. The transaction is expected to expand TCloud's product portfolio and strengthen its professional and managed services. The Willkie team was led by partner Anna Martini G.
