Paul, Weiss advised The Madison Square Boys & Girls Club on its amended plan of reorganization. The youth club filed for bankruptcy on June 29, 2022, to facilitate the resolution of legacy claims filed under the New York State Child Victims Act. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane of the Southern District of New York confirmed the plan on July 28, 2023, and approved the mediated settlement between the debtor and Rockefeller University that was previously incorporated into the plan with the support of the official committee of unsecured creditors.
