Kirkland & Ellis advised Silversmith Capital Partners and its portfolio company, TMA Systems, on the acquisition of MEX (Maintenance Experts). Like TMA Systems, MEX is a provider of advanced computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). The MEX acquisition expands TMA Systems’ geographic footprint and enhances its capabilities across multiple industries, including mining, manufacturing, energy and food & beverage. The transaction, announced October 30, 2024, is TMA’s fourth acquisition since its 2021 investment from Silversmith.
