Willkie represented Brillstein Entertainment Partners, a top entertainment management and production company, in its sale to Wasserman Media Group, a global leader in sports, music, entertainment and culture which is backed by private equity powerhouse Providence Equity Partners.

On September 18, Wasserman announced that it finalized the acquisition of Brillstein, adding a strong entertainment management and content vertical to its businesses representing professional athletes, musicians, consumer brands and other intellectual properties.

Brillstein is the original management-production company, an industry pioneer that for over 45 years has represented some of the industry’s most successful actors, writers, directors, comedians, authors and producers, and has produced an array of television shows, movies, documentaries and podcasts.

Brillstein’s client roster includes Russell Crowe, Tiffany Haddish, Seth Meyers, Brad Pitt, Florence Pugh and Adam Sandler, among many other stars. Brillstein also has extensive experience producing hit series and films for major networks and streamers, including “The Sopranos” and “Real Time with Bill Maher.”
