Black Mountain Oil and Gas (Black Mountain) has announced that it has acquired the Eagle Ford Catarina Ranch assets of Mesquite Energy. Latham & Watkins LLP advised Black Mountain in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Houston partners Stephen Szalkowski and James Garrett, with associates Shawn Beloin, Anji Yuan, and Carlyle Reid.
