On March 31, it was announced that Willkie client Searchlight Capital Partners has partnered with Providence Equity Partners to acquire the entire share capital of Hyve Group plc, a UK-based organizer of international trade exhibitions and conferences.

Under the terms of the agreement, Searchlight will acquire a 40% stake in Heron UK Bidco Limited, the newly incorporated acquisition vehicle formed by funds advised by Providence Equity. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval.

Searchlight is a leading global private investment firm with offices in New York, London and Toronto.
