Simpson Thacher is representing Genstar Capital in connection with an investment by Advent International and Leonard Green & Partners in Prometheus Group, a leading global provider of comprehensive and intuitive enterprise asset management software solutions. Genstar Capital, which has been Prometheus Group’s majority owner since 2019, and Eric Huang, the company’s founder and CEO, will remain significant shareholders following the transaction. The parties entered into a definitive merger agreement on June 4, 2024, the terms of which were not disclosed.
