Paul, Weiss is advising Andretti Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company, in its $200 million business combination with Zapata Computing (Zapata AI), a generative AI software company. Upon completion of the transaction, the combined entity will become a publicly listed company called Zapata Computing Holdings Inc., and will be listed under the new ticker symbol “ZPTA”.

Zapata AI, spun out of Harvard University in 2017, provides enterprises with AI and machine learning software solutions and works with a growing roster of blue-chip partners. Andretti Acquisition Corp.’s management team includes racing legends Mario and Michael Andretti. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2024, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
