Milbank LLP London Litigation & Arbitration partners Mona Vaswani and William Charles attended the 5th annual Fraud & Financial Crime Europe conference in London on 20-21 September. Ms. Vaswani chaired the second day of the conference, which involved a discussion about managing the evolution of fraud and financial crimes and effective mitigation techniques. Additionally, Mr. Charles moderated a panel session on ‘greenwashing,’ including its impact on fraud and broader financial crime topics and the consequences (both regulatory and reputational) of falsely reporting on green metrics.~~Mona Vaswani advises on a variety of complex, cross-border, disputes and investigations, with an emphasis on banking litigation, fraud and asset-tracing claims as well as trust litigation. William Charles specializes in complex commercial dispute resolution and regulatory (and internal) investigations, particularly in the financial services sector.
