Paul, Weiss is advising SSW Partners, co-leader of a consortium alongside Starwood Capital Group and Sixth Street, in the consortium’s proposed HK $55.2 billion (US$7.1 billion) privatization of ESR Group Limited from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE). The consortium collectively holds 39.9% of the total issued shares of ESR and in addition has received co-investment equity commitments through both Starwood Capital and Warburg Pincus-managed investment vehicles. The transaction will be the largest privatization from the HKSE since 2021.
