Simpson Thacher was ranked second among the most active international law firms practicing in Latin America for 2024 by deal volume (overall number of deals), according to Latin Lawyer’s “Deal Tracker Report: 2024 Year in Review.” The Firm was recognized for advising on 66 deals in 2024, including on Liverpool’s $6.25 billion acquisition of Nordstrom, the second-largest transaction in Latin America during the year.
