Milbank LLP advised the joint lead arrangers and joint bookrunners in connection with Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group’s (“Cirque du Soleil”) successful closing of a $550 million term loan B issuance to refinance its existing debt, and a new $100 million revolving credit facility. With this financing, Cirque du Soleil further deleveraged its balance sheet. Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is a world leader in live entertainment. In addition to producing world-renowned circus arts shows, Cirque du Soleil brings its creative approach to a large variety of entertainment forms, such as multimedia productions, immersive experiences, and special events. Tracing its roots to 1832, Janney has over $150 billion in assets under administration, with more than 900 financial advisors providing financial planning, asset allocation, retirement planning and other financial advice and services. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024 subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. KKR is making its investment in Janney primarily through its North America Fund XIII.
